Job Title: Carer/PA
Pay: £13.75 per hour
Place of work: Employers home, in Winstanley, Wigan.
Hours: 30 hours a week

Tuesday 2-8pm
Thursday 8am-8pm
Sunday 8am-8pm
Job description: We are a family based in Winstanley, Wigan looking for a caring and energetic person to join our team of Personal Assistants for a 24 year old young man who has complex medical needs: quadriplegic cerebral palsy, epilepsy, chronic chest problems, and is registered blind.
You will be a 1:1 PA supporting my son in our home, your role will involve full personal care, hoisting, preparation of medication and feeds etc. alongside activities/hobbies throughout the day so a good sense of humour and some experience with children would be beneficial. You will at times be needed to accompany my son on days out or to hospital appointments so a driving license would be beneficial but isn't essential. We are hoping to find someone that he can develop a good relationship with and can act as a companion, supporting him with any activities and day trips alongside his care needs, therefore care experience is desirable but full training will be given as we are more interested in finding the right person to suit the role.
