Maintenance Engineer
Our client is a leading manufacturer dedicated to producing products whose quality is recognised as second to none. With a strong order book and over £9 million of investment, they are expanding. They are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join their Engineering team.

Contract Type: Permanent – Hours: Full time – Disability Confident: NO – Closing Date: 11/06/2026.
Benefits Package
* £52,000 to £53,700 per year, including overtime
* 9% Pension scheme

* 25 days holiday plus bank holidays; option to buy or sell 5 days
* Weekend shift patterns – Friday, 1 weekend in 4 with time off in the week; double time for weekends with bank holiday double time in lieu
Role & Responsibilities
* Perform planned maintenance inspections.
* Review parts used and recommend improvements aligned with projects and maintenance schedules.
* Carry out safety checks on a range of equipment.
* Monitor plant conditions, report defects and repair machinery.
* Generate and maintain compliance to SOPs and risk assessments.
* Report on plant performance using systems and ensure action on non‑conformance issues.
* Work on a range of valves and pumps.
* Support production and continuous improvement projects.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
* Formal Engineering Qualification – C&G Level 3, NVQ Level 3 or apprenticeship trained.
* Continuous improvement knowledge.
* Strong knowledge of good engineering standards.
* Experience in food, packaging, drink or manufacturing environments.
