Our client, a well-established and supportive SEN school based in Dudley, is seeking to appoint a dynamic and visionary Principal to lead the school through its next exciting phase of development. The school caters to pupils with a range of additional needs including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, and moderate to severe learning difficulties (MLD/SLD).
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide strategic leadership, fostering a safe, inclusive and ambitious learning environment.
* Drive school improvement initiatives with a clear vision and strong sense of purpose.
* Lead, inspire, and support a dedicated team of teaching and support staff.
* Maintain high standards of teaching, learning, and pastoral care across the school.
* Build strong relationships with parents, carers, local authorities, and external agencies.
* Ensure full compliance with statutory and safeguarding responsibilities.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* A proven track record of successful senior leadership in an SEN or inclusive education setting.
* A clear understanding of the challenges and opportunities in SEN education.
* Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Experience in curriculum development, staff management, and strategic planning.
* A deep commitment to inclusion and to improving outcomes for all learners.
* Relevant teaching qualifications and QTS.
