Job Description
My client is looking for a Bid Manager for a role starting ASAP. Reporting to the Strategy and Development Director, we are seeking a candidate with a proven ability in bid writing and winning high-value tenders within the public sector and social housing market, ideally within a building safety, repair and maintenance, or renewable energy environment. This is an exciting and rewarding opportunity to manage complex, multi-workstream tenders within an evolving market.
Responsibilities
1. Responding to SQ and ITTs.
2. Tracking clarifications and liaising with the relevant persons.
3. Working with the Strategy and Development Director to create innovative solutions and develop a clear win strategy, ensuring win themes are clear, compelling, and aligned to client requirements.
4. Liaising with subject matter experts within the business to develop case studies.
5. Ensuring timescales are achieved at each step of the bid process, including all internal governance, while taking the initiative in setting realistic deadlines.
6. Ensuring on-time submission of compliant and commercially sound bids.
7. Coordinating and planning client presentations required as part of the bid submission.
8. Driving continuous improvement through post-bid reviews.
The Successful Candidate
* Excellent written skills.
* Experience in the social housing sector.
* Proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Project, and InDesign.
* Strong teamwork and interpersonal abilities.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work to tight timescales.
