CNC Miller\n Nottingham\n £17.00 - £18.00 per hour \n 07:00am – 16:00am Mon – Thurs 07:00am – 12:00pm Fri \n Permanent Role\n \n Are you a CNC Miller currently looking for a new challenge within the Nottingham area?\n \nCurrently recruiting for an experienced CNC Miller for a Manufacturing company based in Nottingham. This would suit a candidate with experience Setting and Operating Haas Milling machines.\n \n Role responsibilities –\n\nFor the role of CNC Miller, you will set up and operate CNC milling machines to produce precision parts according to technical drawings and specifications.\nSelect and install tools, fixtures, and workpieces on the CNC machine.\nReviewing and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD models is required for the CNC Miller role.\nLoad and align raw materials and tooling on the CNC machine.\nMonitor machine performance during operation, adjusting settings as necessary to maintain quality and efficiency.\nFor the role of CNC Miller, you will be performing routine maintenance on CNC milling machines and report any malfunctions.\nInspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure compliance with tolerances and quality standards.\nMake adjustments to the program or machine settings to correct issues and improve part quality.\nEnsure that production deadlines are met while maintaining high safety and quality standards.\nYou will follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area for the role of CNC Miller.\nCommunicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations and troubleshoot any production issues. \nRole requirements –\n\nExperience with 5-axis CNC milling machines is required for the CNC Miller role.\nFamiliarity with CNC programming languages (e.g., G-code, Mastercam, Fusion 360).\nAbility to set up and troubleshoot advanced tooling and machine configurations will be required for the CNC Miller role.\nExperience with machining a variety of materials, including metals, plastics, and composites.\nUnderstanding of Lean Manufacturing principles. \nIf you are interested in discussing this position in more detail, then please contact Kirsten Oxtoby\n \n Arch Recruitment Solutions are acting as an Employment Agency with regards to this position
