Your new role
As an Audit Manager, you will manage a varied portfolio of audit clients while leading and developing a high-performing audit team. You will oversee the full lifecycle of audit engagements, maintain technical excellence, and act as a key contact for clients across multiple sectors.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Managing a wide-ranging portfolio of audit clients.
2. Leading audit assignments from planning through to completion.
3. Providing clear and practical guidance on audit, financial reporting, and accounting matters.
4. Reviewing audit files, identifying risks, and ensuring high-quality outputs.
5. Supervising, coaching, and developing junior team members.
6. Building strong, long-term client relationships through proactive communication.
7. Supporting senior leaders with departmental planning, workflow management, and quality initiatives.
8. Acting as a key point of contact for both clients and internal stakeholders.
What you'll need to succeed
9. ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent).
10. Strong audit experience within a professional practice environment.
11. Proven track record of managing audit engagements and delivering high-quality work.
12. Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP and auditing standards.
13. Experience leading and developing teams.
14. Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
15. A proactive, organised, solutions‑focused approach.
