You'll be involved in a variety of tasks across recruitment, onboarding, and general HR administration, gaining hands-on exposure to all areas of the employee lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Deliver day-to-day administrative support across all HR functions, maintaining a high level of accuracy and confidentiality. Coordinate recruitment activities, including job postings, interview scheduling, and communication with applicants. Assist with onboarding by preparing employment contracts, conducting Right to Work checks, and managing new starter documentation. Keep employee files and HR databases up to date, ensuring data is accurate and compliant with policies. Draft HR letters and documents, and support processes such as probation reviews, performance discussions, and other HR-related meetings. Generate reports and provide relevant employee information to managers when required. Take clear and accurate notes during employee relations meetings (disciplinary or investigation-related). Support the tracking of annual leave and assist with broader HR initiatives and system improvements. The Ideal Candidate CIPD qualification or HR/relevant degree (or currently studying towards one). Demonstrates previous experience in an HR assistant or admin role. Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail and confidentiality. Confident in using Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint). Familiar with HR systems or databases and comfortable managing employee data.
