DESCRIPTIF DU POSTE Role Purpose Provide hands-on coverage across production planning and procurement for multiple manufacturing lines. You’ll build and maintain the production plan, run MRP within SAP, issue supplier schedules, expedite inbound materials and plan finished goods, manage stock accuracy, and drive core supply chain KPIs to safeguard service, cost, and cash. Key Responsibilities Production Planning Create, maintain, and optimise the short‑ to medium‑term production plan for several production lines using SAP planning data and capacity constraints. Convert demand signals into executable production schedules and shop-floor work orders within SAP. Attend daily/weekly planning meetings and align with Operations on resource gaps and line availability. Monitor plan adherence and adjust schedules in SAP as required. MRP & Procurement (External Suppliers) Run the MRP process in SAP (daily/weekly as required) to generate and release schedule agreements. Issue supplier call‑offs/schedules directly from SAP and ensure confirmations are accurately maintained. Expedite open orders to prevent line stoppages; maintain accurate due dates in SAP. Support supplier performance tracking using SAP-generated reports (past dues, confirmations, OTIF etc.). Cross ‑ Functional Liaison Work closely with production, warehouse, quality, engineering, and customer service to ensure material availability. Escalate any supply risks highlighted through SAP exception messages or shortage reports. Inventory & Stock Control Maintain stock accuracy for raw materials, components, and finished goods through SAP cycle counts, adjustments, and BOM checks. Investigate variances using SAP transaction history and drive corrective actions. Maintain accurate master data in SAP (safety stock, lead times, MRP types, minimum order quantities, lot sizes). Data, Reporting & Continuous Improvement Generate dashboards and KPI reports using SAP data, exports, and Excel. Support S&OP and ops reviews with SAP-driven supply, capacity, and constraint information. Participate in regular meeting and contribute to the goals of the department Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Material availability & production downtime due to shortages Supplier OTIF & past-due orders (SAP data) Plan adherence & schedule stability Inventory accuracy, days of supply, and slow/obsolete stock Master data accuracy in SAP Package 26 days holiday per year plus bank holiday Company pension salary negotiable, based on experience PROFIL RECHERCHÉ Skills & Experience The ideal candidate will have the following: - Experience in production planning or procurement within manufacturing. Working knowledge of SAP (PP/MM/MRP) including running MRP, maintaining purchase documents, reading exception messages, and managing master data. Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, XLOOKUP, data analysis). Proven expediting capability with suppliers and internal stakeholders. Excellent organisational and communication skills. Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement tools.
