Safeguard Armour, a leader in military equipment and clothing, is seeking an energetic and driven Business Development Manager to join our ambitious company.
You will work alongside our business development director to implement strategies across 20 countries, alongside our Key Account Manager. You will receive training over 24 months to develop your career into an effective international sales leader.
We're looking for a natural business developer who thrives on generating new business, opening new avenues, and persuading others. You'll work in different areas with various stakeholders, seeking ways to grow revenue streams, launch new products, create marketing materials, and lead tender proposals.
We work with elite customers, including special forces, military, police, and navy, contributing to their vital missions and making a real difference in the world.
Experience in government tenders (RFI/RFQs) and/or managing distributors is a bonus.
In this role, you will:
* Develop strategic partnerships, fostering trust and collaboration with key distributor partners and agents worldwide.
* Drive new business opportunities, opening high-value accounts and empowering distributors to succeed.
* Spearhead expansion efforts, identifying and securing new regional partnerships and building a strong network of collaborators.
* Develop new sales strategies and tactics, leveraging creativity and adaptability to achieve results.
* Analyze local government tenders, and develop winning strategies for contracts in body armor and tactical clothing.
* Collaborate with internal teams, crafting compelling proposals to secure deals.
* Manage the complete sales cycle, from lead generation to closing contracts, supporting your team throughout.
* Become a product expert, providing ongoing support to partners and customers.
* Travel worldwide, to build relationships and represent Safeguard Armour at industry events (travel costs covered).
What We’re Looking For:
* A natural business developer, with 2-5 years of quota-carrying sales experience, passionate about building and motivating high-performing teams.
* A proven track record, of exceeding sales targets and building strong client relationships.
* A strategic thinker, capable of developing and executing effective sales plans.
* A relationship builder, establishing trust and inspiring others.
* A creative problem solver, thriving in dynamic, challenging environments.
* Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
