Building Services Engineer

42.5 hours per week (Overtime available)
Responsibilities
* Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance within assigned buildings by the required attendance dates.
* Updating legal compliance documentation via a tablet (provided) to a high standard.
* Completing PPM and attending to reactive call outs within SLA.
* Raising quotes to ensure faults are fixed and compliance met.
* Updating the company CAFM system.
* Participating in the local Out of Hours rota for emergency response (currently 1 in every 8 weeks).
* Carrying out a reasonable amount of out-of-hours servicing of equipment when required.
* Attending a daily team catch-up call.
* Maintaining a professional, courteous, and supportive approach.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
* Experience working with HVAC plant and equipment.
* Extensive experience in general building services industry; relevant qualifications (e.g., emergency light testing, L8 awareness, plumbing repairs).
* Recognised qualification in at least one maintenance/engineering discipline.
* Ability to carry out repairs/replacement of plant, fixtures and fittings as required.
* Ability to service and repair onsite plant, fixtures and fittings.
* Ability to organise housekeeping tasks and arrangements.
* Good communication skills and basic IT understanding.
* Willingness to work overtime regularly to satisfy contracts.
* Full UK Driving Licence.
* 2391 testing and inspection electrical qualification.
* 18th edition.
* FM/FGAS qualification.
Desirable Skills & Qualifications
* Additional advanced qualifications in building services or related fields.
