As the Materials Planner, you will be involved in:
* Developing accurate demand forecasts to drive material planning and support production schedules
* Generating and managing supply plans to ensure on-time availability of inbound materials and components
* Collaborating with procurement and supplier teams to mitigate risks and resolve delivery issues
* Translating production requirements into clear, time-phased material schedules
* Optimising inventory levels to balance availability, production needs, and working capital targets
* Supporting the introduction of new products and engineering changes with robust planning
* Driving improvements in planning accuracy, scheduling efficiency, and supply reliability
* Monitoring planning KPIs and providing data-led insights to improve decision-making
We are looking for someone with the following experience:
* Proven experience in a planning, forecasting, or scheduling role within a manufacturing environment
* Previous experience in roles such as Supply Chain Planner, Materials Planner, Demand Planner, etc.
* Strong understanding of demand planning, MRP/ERP systems, and material scheduling
* A track record of improving forecast accuracy and aligning planning with production performance
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills
* Ability to work cross-functionally with procurement, operations, and engineering teams
