Role description and essential person specification competencies To develop and contribute to high quality learning, teaching and research in Occupational Therapy and to provide leadership and academic capacity. To seek to develop and maintain progressive research partnerships between the Occupational Therapy and key collaborators and health research bodies. Accountable for academic management and administration of learning and teaching programmes delivered by the occupational therapy team and other departments as directed. To provide high quality student support through personal tutoring and other activities as directed. Publication of high-quality research outputs and attainment of research grant income in line with subject benchmarks. Our department values are that we are Open, Courageous and Inventive. The Occupational Therapy Curriculum is underpinned by person centred care, and we have four threads that guide our teaching and module delivery: Enabling Occupation, Professionalism and Development, Evidence-based Practice and Research and Placements. The successful candidate will hold a PhD or be near completion and registered with Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
