Campsite Assistant - Hope Valley Summary We’re looking for a Campsite Assistant to work at Upper Booth Campsite and Dalehead Bunkhouse, nestled in the beautiful Peak District National Park. This role is all about making sure that people have their best possible experience of an outdoor holiday with the National Trust. Internally, within the National Trust, you'll be known as an ‘Outdoors Holidays Operations Assistant’. This is a fixed term role for the camping season, running from April to November. We are looking for someone flexible, who can work 3 days a week at a minimum. You'll share weekend work with other team members. There may be a possibility for winter work after the camping season. For this role, you’ll need to complete our online assessment instead of using a C.V. or online application form. This will help us understand more about your strengths and give you more information on the role. What you'll be doing You’ll help to keep the campsite and bunkhouse clean, well-maintained and welcoming for all guests. This includes practical tasks like cleaning, basic maintenance and grounds keeping, reporting any repairs needed and generally being a friendly contact for everyone staying here. You’ll be greeting campsite guests, helping with their bookings and dealing with enquiries or complaints. You’ll also help to run the campsite shop as well as other administrative tasks.
