We are currently recruiting for a Chartered Financial Planning practice based in Tunbridge Wells who are looking to recruit an IFA Administrator to join their team.

ROLE

1. Acting as point of contact between clients, advisers and third-party product providers
2. Establishing and maintaining electronic client files
3. Processing new business applications, maintaining accurate information and recordings transactions
4. Sourcing quotations, illustrations and supporting documentation
5. Preparing valuations, reports and material for client meetings
6. Ensuring that all work adheres to the firm’s compliance procedures
7. Follow established procedures, systems and templates for processing work
8. Act on own initiative to ensure workload is prioritised in a timely manner
9. Dealing with post and answering the phone

PERSONAL

10. To maintain and increase technical knowledge and ability to apply this knowledge
11. To keep CPD records in accordance with the firm’s T&D plan
12. To ensure that all client financial and personal affairs remain confidential and are not discussed with third parties without client permission
13. To maintain an awareness of new products and market developments
14. To ensure that both internal and external communications are polite and respectful and to represent the firm in a professional manner

QUALIFICATIONS/CAPABILITIES

15. To use best endeavours to continually improve upon qualifications and skills by following a programme of personal development as agreed with the firm
16. To maintain an acceptable knowledge of the Regulatory framework

SKILLS

17. Understanding information and documentation required to process new business, claims and amendments to existing client policies and investments
18. Keyboard and computer skills, including Word, Outlook, Excel, Adviser Office, Papercloud and
19. Gateway
20. Communication and interpersonal skills for dealing with colleagues, clients and companies
21. Letter writing skills and information presentation
22. High degree of organisational skills and attention to detail
23. Exceptional client service and communication skills

KNOWLEDGE

24. Understanding of Regulatory framework
25. Knowledge of financial services products
26. Experience of provider investment platforms
27. Experience within the financial services industry
