We are seeking a dedicated and experienced GeneralPractitioner (GP) to join our team in delivering high-quality primary careservices to our patients. As a salaried GP, you will work 6 sessions per week,contributing to the provision of comprehensive healthcare in line with NHSWales guidelines and practice policies. This is an excellent opportunity tomake a significant impact on the health and well-being of the local community.
You will work as part of the clinical team, ideally doing 6sessions spread across three days with a mixture of booked clinics and on-callshifts. There is flexibility in how you would want to conduct your clinics andwe are happy to combine telephone and face to face appointments across the weekincluding being flexible around start times to accommodate school runs or otherfamily commitments.
We usually get a small number of house-call requests per daybut these are generally triaged by the on-call doctor and only allocated ifclinically necessary and practitioners rarely get allocated to more than oneper day.

About us
We are a large training practice situated close to the centreof Cwmbran. We cover an area towards the South of Torfaen Council stretchinggeographically from Rougemont School to Pontrhydyrun.
We offer a wide range of enhanced services includingcontraception, minor surgery, diabetes and gender identity service. Job responsibilities

1. Clinical Care:

Person Specification
Experience
* 1.Medical Qualification:
* Possess a recognized medical degree and hold a current registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) in the United Kingdom.
* 2.Full Registration and Licensing:
* Hold a valid license to practice as a General Practitioner and be included on the GP Register.
* 3.Knowledge of NHS Guidelines:
* Demonstrated understanding and familiarity with the current NHS guidelines and policies relevant to primary care, including evidence-based medicine and clinical governance.
* 4.Communication Skills:
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with patients from diverse backgrounds, as well as colleagues, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders. 5.Clinical Skills:
* Competence in conducting thorough medical assessments, diagnosing and managing a wide range of acute and chronic conditions commonly encountered in primary care, and providing appropriate treatment and referrals.
