An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Speech and Language Therapist to join the Stroke Trials Unit within the Academic Unit of Mental Health and Clinical Neurosciences at the University of Nottingham. This unit is one of the UK's leading stroke research teams.
We are seeking applications for a part time Speech and Language Therapist to support the Chief Investigator and the PhEAST trial team, investigating the effectiveness of pharyngeal electrical stimulation for acute stroke dysphagia.
The post holder will be responsible for implementing trial specific training for UK and European sites engaged in the PhEAST trial and screening, recruitment, treatment and follow up of patients at the Nottingham site at Queen's Medical Centre. There will be the opportunity to work with the Nottingham University Hospitals (NUH) Speech and Language Therapy team.

This position is offered on a part time, fixed-term contract until 31 January 2027. Hours of work are part-time (21.75 hours per week), fewer hours will also be considered, please indicate this in your application.
