Working Hours: 5‑5‑4 shift pattern, 7am‑7pm
Gama Aviation is actively seeking talented B1 Licenced Engineers to support an exciting project based at Glasgow Airport. This opportunity is to support a high‑profile customer through a dedicated workforce understanding the need to deliver impeccable service in an active operational environment.
The B1 Licenced Engineer (B1 LAE) is a certifying Licenced Engineer position and must hold a valid UK CAA/EASA PART‑66 Aircraft Maintenance Licence.

Responsibilities
* Carry out scheduled Base and Line maintenance activities at the Glasgow Base and provide certification of own work alongside supervision and certification of unlicensed engineers work
* Carry out aircraft maintenance as an unlicensed engineer when required for aircraft types not held on approval
* Ensure the completion to schedule of customer order requirements when acting as supervising, certifying or category C engineer for a given input
* AOG activities at and away from the Glasgow Base
* Compliance with GAEL Maintenance Organisation Exposition and published processes and procedures
* Ensuring that Health and Safety procedures, processes and COSHH are always observed
* Ensuring that their day to day housekeeping and that of engineers being supervised by them is kept to a high standard
* If required assist the Commercial Department in generating estimates for Line or Base Maintenance Services when required, giving advice on man hours / parts / services and any likely additional costs
* Travel to, and work at, other GAEL bases for short periods of time as required
Skills, Qualifications and Experience Required
* Hold an unrestricted CAA/EASA Part 66 Licence Category B1
* Flexibility and willing to travel to other Gama Locations
* Computer literate with excellent communication skills
* Be eligible to hold a UK security clearance
* Full UK Driving licence
