As an Optometrist at K France Opticians, Carlisle, you’ll provide expert eye examinations, clinical advice and fit a wide range of contact lenses, and deliver ongoing eye care that ensures patients feel confident, comfortable, and genuinely cared for.

Working Environment & Daily Practice
You’ll be working in a well-equipped, modern practice with a strong emphasis on clinical excellence. The practice benefits from 30-minute appointment times, allowing you to carry out thorough examinations and provide personalised care. You’ll have access to OCT, auto-phoropter, Nidek LCD charts, Corneal Topographer and Humphrey’s Visual Field analyser, with pre-testing completed to support efficient patient flow.
The practice has two fully equipped consulting rooms and serves a diverse patient base. You’ll be supported by an experienced team of four, creating a collaborative and well-structured working environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and deliver tailored clinical advice
* Fit and manage a wide range of contact lenses
* Provide ongoing patient care in line with GOC guidelines and company policies
* Support the wider team by resolving clinical and technical queries
* Liaise with external healthcare professionals when required
* Maintain clinical equipment and contribute to continuous improvement within the practice
We are looking for a full-time Optometrist who will play a key role in the ongoing success of the practice and in delivering outstanding patient care.
