Applications are invited for the role of a part‑time (18.5hrs Monday, Wednesday and Friday pm) Citizens in Policing (CiP) Coordinator, who will coordinate and provide support across all Citizens in Policing schemes, including the Special Constabulary, Police Support Volunteers (PSVs), and Volunteer Police Cadets (VPC). This will include the recruitment, welfare, training, performance management, and engagement activities. The role supports initiatives to recruit and retain members, ensures safeguarding, and maximises professionalism and skills in line with the Suffolk Citizens in Policing Delivery plan.

Essential Qualifications
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to liaise confidently and professionally with a wide range of audiences.
* Ability to persuade and motivate internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
* Strong organisational and planning skills; ability to manage multiple work streams, ensure attention to detail, and deliver against plans while adapting to change under pressure.
* Ability to work collaboratively and independently, using initiative to solve problems and escalating appropriately.
* Ability to fulfil travel requirements.
Desirable Qualifications
* Previous experience working with volunteers and/or young people.
* Experience designing, planning, and delivering training and/or marketing programmes.
* Experience sourcing funding streams and sponsorship.
