Your new role
As a Quantity Surveyor, you’ll take ownership of themercial management of projects, ensuring financial control and contractualpliance from start to finish. You’ll manage subcontractor accounts, oversee reporting processes, and provide accurate forecasting to support project success. Your role will involve building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, negotiating variations, and closing projects with precision. You’ll also play a key part in coaching and supporting colleagues, helping to strengthenmercial awareness across the team.
What you'll need to succeed
1. Proven experience managing projects independently within the main contracting market
2. Strongmercial acumen with the ability to balance cost control and value creation
3. Technical knowledge of construction processes and contract management systems
4. Confidence in negotiation andmunication to maintain positive client and subcontractor relationships
5. Leadership qualities to support and mentor team members while driving results
