Teaching Personnel is proud to support vulnerable learners across Nottinghamshire and is currently seeking a dedicated Functional Skills Tutor to provide tailored 1:1 support in Maths and/or English to students at Key Stage 3 level in Bingham. This role is ideal for educators looking to help students who face challenges in mainstream education, and it offers the opportunity to make a genuine impact. A long-term, full-time position may be available for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging Functional Skills lessons in English and/or Maths on a one-to-one basis
* Adapt your teaching to suit individual learning needs and overcome barriers to engagement
* Build positive relationships with learners and manage behaviour confidently
* Foster a safe, supportive, and encouraging learning environment to help students progress

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
