Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Blaster to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing surfaces for painting and finishing by using various blasting techniques. This role requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work with a variety of tools and equipment in a warehouse environment. The Blaster will play a crucial part in ensuring that all components meet quality standards before they are painted or assembled.
Responsibilities
* Operate blasting equipment to clean and prepare surfaces for painting
* Assemble and fabricate components as required
* Perform painting tasks with precision, ensuring high-quality finishes
* Utilise power tools and hand tools effectively for various tasks
* Conduct basic maths calculations for measurements and material requirements
* Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to safety protocols
* Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and quality control
* Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the blasting process
Skills
* Proficient in operating power tools and hand tools
* Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment
* Experience in warehouse environments is advantageous
* Ability to assemble and fabricate components accurately
* Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations
* Knowledge of painting techniques and surface preparation methods
