Qualifications and experience\nA degree or equivalent, in Electronic Engineering.\nMust be able to demonstrate a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in electronic design.\nProven experience with embedded systems and microcontroller programming.\n\nRole and Responsibilities\nWe are seeking a skilled Electronics Manager to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronics for complex systems. The job involves designing, developing, testing, and maintaining electronics architecture for our products.
This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, innovative solutions.\n\nThe successful candidate will be able to:\nWork as part of a team to design and develop electronics hardware for new and existing products.\nAssist in the design of embedded systems that comprise both high speed analogue and digital electronics.\nSupport the range of existing products with updates and enhancements.\nCarry out advanced fault finding of new PCB’s and systems.\nFully document new designs with bill of materials, test procedures and other supporting documentation.\nCollaborate with software engineers to integrate software with hardware components.\nProvide technical support and troubleshooting for systems in production.\n\nSkills\nThe successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following skills:\nDemonstratable experience with Schematic/PCB layout, circuit design and development tools (ideally Altium, but not essential).\nSound knowledge of analogue and digital hardware design.\nA minimum of 2 years’ experience of VHDL.\nExperience with electronics simulation tools.\nExperience of FPGA development tools.\nEmbedded C programming.\nExcellent problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail.\nGood communication skills; verbal and written.\nHighly motivated.\nGood collaborator
