The Partnership has adopted a hybrid working approach, allowing a mix of office and home-based work based on personal needs and business requirements. Typically, there is a minimum of 2 days a week in the office for team connection and ad-hoc meetings, with flexibility.
Location
This role is based at our Pimlico Head Office campus.
Key responsibilities
1. Accountable for planning and forecasting sales, stock, profit, and SKUs for the Merchandising Manager L5 and Trade Planning team.
2. Manage the commercial and customer success of a product range through range planning and in-season trading, utilizing analysis and reporting from Product Operations.
3. Oversee stock flow, inventory levels, and open-to-buy processes through Merchandising Assistants, aiming to maximize availability while minimizing inventory and supply chain costs.
4. Work collaboratively within a team environment, liaising with Merchandising Manager, Buyer, Supply Chain, and external suppliers to make informed trading decisions.
5. Forecast assortment sales, stock, and margin KPIs with support from your manager, and decide on open-to-buy parameters to meet targets.
6. Collaborate with Buying for seasonal trading decisions and product lifecycle management.
7. Manage Merchandising Assistants within your team.
Essential skills/experience
* Experience in Forecasting & Planning, WSSI management, stakeholder influence.
* Merchandising practices including assortment planning and stock management.
* Strong analytical and numerical skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar tools.
* Effective communication and presentation skills.
* Understanding of retail operations and supply chain management.
* Proactive learning approach.
