Associate Key Account Manager
Abbott Cardiometabolic is part of Abbott’s Diagnostics family, bringing together exceptional teams of experts and industry leading technologies to support diagnostic testing which provides important information for treatment and management of cardio‑renal metabolic diseases such as cardiovascular disease, diabetes and chronic kidney disease. The portfolio includes the Afinion™ 2 Analyser, a compact, fully automated, multi‑assay analyser for high accuracy professional near‑patient testing in community and hospital settings.
We are currently recruiting for an Associate Key Account Manager to join the team to cover the South region.
Territory includes: London, Surrey, Sussex, Kent and Hertfordshire.

Main Purpose of The Job
To drive customer success by building trusted partnerships across the territory, ensuring Abbott’s diagnostic solutions meaningfully support clinicians, services, and patients. The role focuses on understanding customer needs, delivering value through insight‑led conversations, and enabling sustainable growth by aligning Abbott’s technologies with shared goals for better cardio‑renal metabolic care.
Key Responsibilities
* Champion customer success across the territory: Drive sustainable sales growth by deeply understanding customer needs, identifying opportunities that genuinely improve patient pathways, and ensuring Abbott solutions deliver measurable value in community and hospital settings.
* Build trusted, long‑term partnerships: Develop strong, collaborative relationships with key accounts, acting as a reliable partner who listens, anticipates challenges, and ensures customers feel supported throughout their diagnostic journey.
* Deliver meaningful conversations that support better care: Engage customers with high‑quality, insight‑led discussions that translate clinical and technical data into practical benefits for their teams, patients, and service outcomes.
* Identify opportunities that align with shared goals: Proactively uncover new business opportunities by focusing on areas where Abbott’s technologies can help customers achieve their clinical, operational, or strategic objectives.
* Ensure seamless account management and follow‑through: Maintain accurate customer records, forecasts, and activity reporting to ensure transparency, continuity, and a smooth experience for every stakeholder.
* Monitor the market to support customer decision‑making: Stay close to competitor activity and emerging trends so you can guide customers with up‑to‑date insights and help them make informed, confident choices.
* Represent Abbott with integrity and professionalism: Act as a trusted ambassador for Abbott’s values, ensuring all interactions reflect ethical standards, quality expectations, and a commitment to improving health outcomes.
Required Qualifications
* Ability to translate clinical and technical information into clear, meaningful conversations
