Job overview The Wolds are seeking to recruit a dynamic ward administrator to join their team in their 16-bed mixed-sex reablement ward within Discovery House. This position will offer the successful candidate an exciting and challenging opportunity to work as part of a supportive team. To provide efficient and effective ward administration support to the Wolds. You will have a planned induction and work within a robust framework of regular professional supervision. To support the Wolds with Ward environment budget and spending so that our patients have a positive experience on the ward. Scanning onto RIO, minuting staff meetings, and medical device linking to ensure all medical devices are regularly assessed and safe to use. Ordering food and other supplies for the ward. Updating Z Drive and access requests for new starters. Monitoring of Wolds generic email inbox Authoriser for adding new staff onto the ward Z drive and arranging new badges. Arranging meetings and team invites. Organise ward rounds, when required, in the absence of the ward's medical secretary, and send emails and Teams invites. Updating documents used on the ward and restocking. Petty Cash / Patient Money management. Mental Health Act Heatmap monitoring and updating. Liaising with Estates for repairs. Management of the ward Lease Car – Organising repairs, service, and related documents. Updating Data Quality Dashboard. Archiving of documents. Preparing and updating Carers Packs which are sent out on admissions.
