Overview
Being a support worker is more than just a job, it's a career where you have the ability to make someone’s day and put a smile upon their face, creating opportunities for happiness!
You will be supporting and enabling adults with their daily routines, which can range from a trip into town for a cake, coffee and natter to preparing their evening meal – The best thing, is that each day is different!
You do not need to have worked in the care sector before, as long as you have the passion to support others, we will provide all the training you will need to become a great support worker. The work may involve supporting people with their personal care (for example washing, using the toilet or shaving).
We have Supported Living and Outreach services in Nottingham, Mansfield, Worksop, Sutton in Ashfield and surrounding areas that are looking for their next team member - please get in touch if you are looking for a specific setting to work within.
Hours
Part time hours available, with a variety of shift available.

We have a number of vacancies across our services in Nottingham.
About You / Qualifications
We’re not looking for any kind of specific experience. It is your personality and values that will make you a good fit for the role and our organisation. We will train and develop you to become a great support worker if you:
* have genuine empathy for the people we support, with the positivity, patience, and resilience to support them through difficult times.
* enjoy teamwork and take pride in getting a job done well alongside your colleagues.
* have excellent face to face communication skills and a good standard of literacy.
* have good time management skills and the ability to prioritise your own workload.
