Overview
A leading, award winning, established and highly successful provider of mechanical and electrical installation services to commercial and industrial buildings seeks the solid appointment of an experienced and commercially talented Senior Electrical Project Manager from an M&E / Building Services electrical installation project management background to join their exciting planned growth and continued success. Candidates sought MUST be based or able to commute to the Birmingham / West Midlands Area. You will ideally have previous experience working on projects up to £25M, although we will consider applicants of other high values within reason, as long as they are of a commercial / industrial level. Responsibilities
* Lead the project management and delivery of electrical installations into new build industrial facilities, including warehousing & distribution sheds, industrial units for various manufactured goods, office blocks and data centres.
* Manage and coordinate electrical installation teams on site, and collaborate with other specialist electrical engineers to undertake wider elements of the installs.
* Maintain client-facing meetings, conduct with professionalism and integrity, and liaise regularly with site-based Electrical Site Managers, Electrical Supervisors and Electrical installation engineers while on client side.
* Work with main contractors where applicable and ensure delivery to programme, budget and quality targets.
* Provide organised, commercially minded leadership and contribute to continued career development within the business.
Requirements
* Strong background in M&E / Building Services with direct experience in the project management and delivery of electrical installations and related electrical services for commercial and industrial environments.
* Proven track record of managing and delivering schemes of significant value (ideally up to £25M) and experience working with main contractors.
* Based in or able to commute to the Birmingham / West Midlands area.
* Commercially minded, technically proficient, and capable of leading on client meetings and relationships.
* Organised, approachable leadership style with the ability to coordinate cross-discipline teams on site.
