Role Overview
We are looking for an Architect / Senior Architect to join our growing architecture team within the Buildings and Cities unit. The architecture team provides services at all RIBA stages on a wide variety of projects across the UK, Ireland, Europe and globally. The role involves working on a long‑term project opportunity, developing your own career, and coordinating proactively with other engineering disciplines while running projects autonomously.
Candidate Specification
The ideal candidate will be degree qualified or equivalent in architecture with work experience within an architectural practice or similar environment in the UK and have suitable experience of running projects as part of a team. They should be creative, confident, detail‑oriented, possess a solid technical knowledge base and be able to demonstrate project running experience, working as part of a team, and coordinating with other design team members.
* Essentials
o Post part 3 / Qualified Architect with ARB registration
o Defence or Transport buildings experience would be beneficial but not essential
o Demonstrable post qualification experience
o Ability to deliver projects from a design and technical background
o Experience of project delivery, working to deadlines
o Experience of working with Revit and BIM
o Should have a genuine interest in Architecture and the Built Environment and be aware of relevant current technical building legislation and guidance such as Building Regulations and British Standards
o Should be prepared to work on multiple projects simultaneously
