Description
The Counter Lead is responsible for supporting their Brand in driving sales turnover and market share through consistently remaining consumer focused.
* Reflect a credible and professional Brand image to all internal and external consumers at all times.
* Maximize sales through selling, providing excellent service, and retail standards.
* Contribute to efficiencies by adhering to store/Brand/Company procedures and guidelines.
* Understand daily/weekly targets.
* Maintain awareness of all additional sales avenues such as eventing, Omni, and digital channels.
* Monitor competitor activities and identify missed opportunities.
* Utilize social media effectively to drive business and enhance Brand image.
* Implement the Brand Strategy and local marketing & events initiatives aligned with Retailer activity.
* Ensure excellent service delivery, aiming for zero consumer complaints and a surprise-and-delight culture.
* Act as an ambassador for the Brand, embodying its values.
* Manage refunds and complaints following company guidelines, consulting with the Area Manager when necessary.
* Use digital tools to stay updated on product knowledge.
* Develop strategies for consumer recruitment and retention.
* Maintain up-to-date product knowledge to deliver industry-leading experiences.
* Ensure standards in product, housekeeping, displays, messaging, and pricing are consistently met.
* Review retail standards daily and maintain them.
* Complete deliveries, stock movements, and related administration within set timeframes.
* Follow auditable processes and take corrective action where needed.
* Fulfill information requests accurately and timely.
* Minimize stock loss by following security policies.
* Create a safe working environment in compliance with policies and procedures.
* Achieve a minimum overall grading of 'Acceptable' in health & safety audits.
Commerciality
* Manage daily replenishment and take appropriate actions.
* Maximize sales using commercial reports for decision-making.
* Plan and execute visual merchandising layouts.
* Identify stock issues and inform the Area Manager when necessary.
* Manage promotions and discounts per guidelines.
* Identify trends and suggest improvements for product performance.
Qualifications
* Experience in a fast-paced retail or consumer-facing environment.
* Ability to drive self-development.
* Understanding of industry and commercial awareness.
* Effective communication, organization, and prioritization skills.
