The stakes are high.Responsibilities:Provide guidance and support to engineering teams involved in concept developmentContribute and manage feasibility study projects, including defining objectives, timelines, and resource requirements.Communicate the results of feasibility studies to stakeholders ensuring clarity and alignment with business goals.Identify and mitigate technical risks associated with battery concepts.Champion the identification and protection of intellectual property for innovative battery concepts.Take full ownership of system or battery pack design.Directly or indirectly leading team members to meet quality, cost, timing and performance objectives.Requirements:Knowledge of automotive standards and engineering practicesStrong technical background and relevant experience in battery system engineeringAbility to work under pressure within short timeline to deliver quality technical proposals Understanding of Manufacturing technologies, product creation process and R&D methods Working knowledge of 3DX & MS Office Experience in designing automotive parts, tools and jigs Understanding of various product technologiesUnderstanding battery cells technologies and battery behaviours
