Some key information Location: Bridgwater Please note that this is a hybrid role and an element of office-based working will be required. Full time, 37 hours per week What will I be doing? We’re working to improve the lives of people in Somerset – and you’ll be a key part of that. Your day-to-day work will involve: Supervise, co-ordinate and monitor the work of a team who provide a range of business support activities to operational colleagues. Collate, analyse and interpret key data relating to operational, resource and performance management. Operate, monitor and review a range of systems (including IT) and procedures ensuring consistency and operation to required standards. Attend and support meetings as required to contribute to the development and enhancement of service provision. Where required provide an administrative and business support service to senior operational colleagues often dealing with sensitive and/or confidential matters. What kind of experience or qualifications do I need? We offer ongoing support, training and guidance to help you be the best you can be. But it will really help if you: Have sound communication and excellent team working skills and abilities. Are educated to a minimum of NVQ Level 3 Standard/5 GCSEs including Maths and English at Grade 4 or above with good standards of literacy, numeracy and accuracy. Are proficient in Microsoft Office programmes including Outlook, Word and Excel. Have previous experience of working in an administrative role. Have previous supervisory experience.
