Fram are working with a boutique mortgage firm based in Suffolk. They are directly authorised, independent and aim to provide the highest standard of mortgage and protection advice to clients. The role is for a full-time administrator supporting a small team of advisors. Our client is looking for someone who has a good attitude, experience within the BTL, Bridging and commercial mortgage space, and who enjoys working within a small team where they can learn and develop their career. The role is to help the advice team with the submission of mortgage and protection cases. You will also be required to contact and liaise with lenders and providers for updates, prepare weekly pipeline reports, and assist with the preparation of client annual reviews. Key Responsibilities: Preparing, submitting, and tracking mortgage and protection (life, critical illness, income protection) applications. Liaising with lenders, insurers, solicitors, and clients to ensure applications progress smoothly. Ensuring all documentation meets regulatory and compliance requirements (FCA rules, GDPR). Collecting and verifying client documents (proof of ID, income, bank statements). Maintaining accurate client records on CRM systems Acting as the point of contact for clients with general enquiries Responding to queries by phone, email, or letter. Providing updates on case progression and chasing outstanding requirements. Assisting advisers with research and preparing recommendation packs. Monitoring pipeline business and keeping records of application stages. Chasing lenders, insurers, and solicitors for updates. Preparing files for audits and compliance checks. Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence. Preparing and submitting protection insurance applications. Ensuring policies are correctly placed on risk Handling trust documentation and policy amendments when required. A likely candidate will have administration experience within a mortgage firm; be IT literate have good communication skills and be comfortable working in a small team
