Job Description
Operational Leadership
3. Lead, manage, and develop production teams to deliver against operational targets
4. Set clear objectives and provide ongoing performance feedback
5. Deputise for the General Manager when required
Production & Planning
6. Plan, organise, and coordinate resources to deliver production output on time and in full (OTIF)
7. Ensure all output meets required specifications and service commitments
8. Drive productivity, service, and operational performance across all production areas
Continuous Improvement
9. Lead continuous improvement initiatives and forums to identify and resolve operational issues
10. Analyse performance data and KPIs, identifying trends and implementing corrective actions
11. Promote lean thinking and operational excellence across the site
12. Support sustainability initiatives including reducing environmental impact
Compliance & Quality
13. Ensure full compliance with health & safety, data protection, and company policies
14. Drive adherence to quality standards and continuous improvement of the working environment
15. Ensure a safe, compliant, and high-performing production environment
Commercial & Financial Management
16. Develop and manage operational budgets in line with business objectives
17. Monitor costs, investigate variances, and drive cost-effective performance
18. Support strategic planning and capital investment decisions
Cross-Functional Collaboration
19. Work closely with engineering, logistics, and service teams to resolve issues quickly
20. Maintain strong communication with internal stakeholders and customers where required
21. Ensure service delivery commitments are met and continuously improved

22. Proven experience in operations, production, or service-led environments
23. Strong leadership experience managing teams and driving performance
24. Experience implementing continuous improvement initiatives

27. Excellent organisational and planning capability
28. Customer-focused approach to service delivery
29. Financial awareness including budgeting and forecasting
