We are seeking a competent and motivated Site Engineer with solid experience in heavy civils, earthworks, drainage, and groundworks to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing accurate setting out, surveying, and quality control across a variety of civil engineering projects. This role involves close collaboration with site teams, subcontractors, and project management to ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and to the required standards.
Key responsibilities include managing site engineering activities such as establishing levels and survey control, setting out detailed works in line with contract drawings, monitoring progress, and resolving technical issues on site. The Site Engineer will also assist in producing programmes, progress reports, resource and cost plans, and contribute to financial forecasting.
