You will be working for a housing provider who provides general housing support to tenants in relation to their tenancy agreement and localmunity services. These housing providers vary in size and therefore, the areas/properties you would be responsible for as a Housing Officer will also vary.
Your new role
As a Housing Officer, you will be responsible for patched based general housing needs support for tenants to ensure they continue to sustain their tenancy agreement with the landlord. You are a representative of the organisation and therefore, excellent customer service will be at the heart of anything that you do within your role as a Housing Officer.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in obtaining a role as a Housing Officer, you will be able to showcase your experience of working in a patched based role, dealing with tenancy services such as tenancy sustainment, rental ie, ASB and lettings. You will also have experience of managing large patches of 500+ properties, be a proficient user of housing management systems and a full UK driving licence with access to your own vehicle.
