We are now looking for an energetic and customer-focusedAssistant Centre Managerto lead one of their busy Autocentres and help them continue delivering service that is second to none.
The Role
As an Assistant Manager, you will divide your time between workshop duties and front-of-house leadership, ensuring your centre runs smoothly, efficiently and profitably.
Youll support the Centre Manager with daily operations while taking a proactive role in leading the team, maintaining high customer satisfaction, and achieving sales and performance targets.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Centre Manager in overseeing daily operations
Lead, motivate and coach an effective and productive workshop team
Deliver outstanding levels of customer service and build long-term relationships
Assist in achieving sales, profit and KPI targets
Maintain high standards of workmanship, service, safety and compliance
Carry out hands-on technical work as required, including servicing, repairs or MOT testing (if qualified)
Ensure the workshop runs smoothly, efficiently and safely
Handle customer enquiries, quotes, and service updates
About You
You will have:
Supervisory or team-lead experience in the automotive Service, Maintenance & Repair sector
Experience in a fast-fit, tyre, brake, exhaust centre OR a busy independent garage
Hands-on knowledge of MOTs, servicing, repairs, tyres, and brakes
Excellent customer service and communication skills
A proactive, positive, and team-focused approach
A Full UK driving licence
Desirable:
Level 3 Technician qualification
MOT Tester licence
