Thrive Group are delighted to be working with our progressive client based in the Bradford area who are actively looking to recruit a Multi-Skilled Engineer to join the team on a permanent basis.
What you will be doing:
Fault find and diagnose equipment breakdowns, assessing the best course of action and conducting a performance repair.
* Carrying out repair or maintenance tasks as required
* Involvement with continuous improvement projects and equipment installations
* Fault finding (both mechanical and electrical)
* Using CMMS to record and manage work as well as lean manufacturing tools to improve efficiency
What you will need to succeed:
* Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment essential
* A good understanding of pneumatics and hydraulics (Mitsubishi/Siemens)
* Knowledge of inverters, drives and PLCs
* Ability to work on own and as part of a team
* NVQ3 or ONC engineering electrical engineering or equivalent
What you will receive in return:
* Continental shift pattern
* Salary £43,000 to £50,500 DOE (opportunities for progression with structured pay increases, subject to skills assessment)
* 31 Days Paid Holidays Per Year (inclusive of statutory)
* Company sick pay scheme
