Your role:
* Prepare, negotiate, and analyse budgets and costs
* Procure and pre-qualify subcontractors while managing contracts and payments
* Identify and manage commercial risks and contractual issues
* Produce detailed monthly cost value reconciliation reports
* Lead and mentor the commercial team, fostering strong collaboration with site operations
What we need from you:
* Degree qualified with civil engineering experience (the projects will mainly be on marine, ports, floods, defences)
* Solid knowledge of JCT and NEC contracts
* Strong commercial awareness and excellent communication skills
* Organised and able to meet deadlines with minimal supervision
* Willingness to travel occasionally to sites across Scotland
