Accounts Payable Manager

The role:
Tortilla is looking for a dynamic, Accounts Payable Manager (AP/AR) with exceptional organisation skills and multi-tasking ability. In a fast-paced environment, you will be primarily responsible for managing the Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger. With study support and a multitude of continuous professional development opportunities included, this is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious individual looking to start their accounting career in a fun, growing business.
Key responsibilities:
* Payment runs - Thursday, Mid-month, Month-end and expenses;
* Aged Debtors and Creditors management;
* Weekly Sales posting and allocations;
* Quarterly VAT returns;
* Performing supplier statement reconciliations;
* Food and beverage invoice and credit note entry;
* Inventory mailbox management;
* Supporting a junior team member;
* Supporting the month end process; and ad-hoc duties.
Key skills, competencies and experience:
* Studying towards or completed an accounting qualification (desirable);
* Some experience and knowledge of Sage 200 (desirable);
* Strong Excel skills (essential);
* Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask (essential);
* Excellent attention to detail (essential); and
* Hard working and driven with a positive, can-do attitude (essential).
