MJM Marine are looking for a success driven H&S consultant with a passion for instilling and promoting positive organisational health and safety culture. This site based role requires global travel and provides the opportunity to work alongside diverse projects teams.
* Ensure implementation and monitor compliance to company health & safety policies and procedures
* Assist in the development of project method statements and risk assessments
* Liaise with project management teams, client H&S representatives and subcontractors to ensure all health and safety requirements are met
* Carry out health and safety inspections, ensure sufficient action is taken to deal with nonconformities and complete reports of same
* Attend project meetings and obtain all necessary project information to adequate plan for health and safety
* Fulfil induction training requirements, deliver toolbox talks and assist in project health and safety training programmes
* Carry out accident investigation, complete reports and implement corrective actions
* All other duties within the reasonable scope of the Consultant’s expertise
The Ideal Person will:
* Be an experienced health & safety consultant with at least 3 years’ experience in a similar role
* Hold a valid NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent
* Have a high level of English and Polish (written & verbal)
