TEACHER OF FRENCH PART TIME - 0.5-0.6 FTE Required from September 2026 GDST has its own teacher pay scale We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and inspiring Teacher of French (0.5-0.6 FTE), ideally with the ability to teach Spanish, to join our successful Modern Foreign Languages department. The department fosters intellectual curiosity and a strong appreciation of global cultures. We set high expectations for all students and provide differentiation and appropriate challenges to support every learner to reach their full potential. The ability to teach Spanish at Key Stage 3 or GCSE level would be an advantage. We welcome applications from both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs). We ensure progress in pupils’ learning and follow a bespoke curriculum created by the department, in which teachers are free to use a range of teaching methods. We promote languages and cultures through our strong co-curricular offer, which includes popular trips, clubs, and inter-departmental events. Our successful annual Languages and Cultures Week celebrates both languages learnt in school and languages spoken at home, supporting the school’s strong commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion.
