Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday (term time only)

About the Role
We are looking for a compassionate, dedicated, and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team in Kettering.
The successful candidate will provide tailored support to pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN), ensuring they are fully included in the classroom and able to achieve their full potential.
You will work closely with the class teacher and SENCo to deliver high-quality support, helping pupils develop academically, socially, and emotionally in a nurturing school environment.

Key Responsibilities
* Support pupils with SEN on a 1:1 basis or in small groups.
* Assist with the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs).
* Adapt learning activities and materials to meet pupils’ needs.
* Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
* Support teachers in maintaining a safe and engaging learning environment.
* Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and outside agencies.

Experience and Qualifications
* Experience: Previous experience supporting children with SEN is essential.
* Qualification: A relevant Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable but not essential.
* Skills: Patience, empathy, and a strong commitment to helping children succeed.
