What you’ll be doing
– your accountabilities
1. The role purpose is to drive improvement in Radio Coverage & Performance through effective performance management and localized network optimisation. Main accountabilities for the role include:
2. Perform detailed analysis of proposed site designs to ensure they will deliver optimal network performance.
3. Perform new site radio optimisation to ensure cells perform well when first activated.
4. Ensure sites meet regulatory requirements and recommend design adjustments when required to maintain compliance.
5. Provide clear feedback with supporting evidence where required regarding issues.
6. Identify and prioritise investment requirements to drive better customer experience, build effective business cases to justify investment.
7. Support development of less experienced members of the team and share knowledge openly and clearly to improve overall team skills.
8. Produce evidence packs to support decision making where required to get issues resolved and secure investment where required.
9. Use advanced data analytics skills to drive improved ways of working.
10. Support regional manager as required to complete priority tasks.
Experience you’d be expected to have
11. Mandatory experience required for this role includes:
12. Advanced Mobile Network RAN optimization/planning and/or RAN Performance knowledge.
13. Ability at making decisions in ambiguous situations using incomplete information.
14. Produce clear and effective communication both written and verbal to justify actions and drive business decisions.
15. Experience of radio site designs and propagation models.
16. Knowledge of crowd data sources and how they can be used to improve understanding of radio propagation and customer hot spots. message drill down and diagnostics.
Preferred experience:
17. Data Analytics and the ability to process and investigate large datasets.
