Duties
* Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students.
* Educate students in core subjects, ensuring a solid foundation in literacy, numeracy, and other essential skills.
* Utilise behaviour management techniques to create a positive classroom atmosphere conducive to learning.
* Mentor and guide students, providing support for their academic and personal growth.
* Assess student progress regularly and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
* Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and specialists to support students with special educational needs or those requiring therapy.
* Maintain accurate records of student performance and behaviour, ensuring effective communication with parents regarding their child's progress.
* Foster an inclusive environment that respects diversity and promotes equality among all students.
Skills
* Excellent mentoring abilities to guide students effectively through their educational journey.
* Proficient in maths and English instruction, capable of making the subject accessible and enjoyable for young learners.
* Familiarity with special education practices and strategies for supporting diverse learning needs.
* Knowledge of behaviour management techniques to maintain a harmonious classroom environment.
* Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage with students, parents, and colleagues alike.
