Pyramid Plus, a joint venture partnership between A2Dominion and Mears Property Services, provides repairs and maintenance, compliance, and planned replacements across London and the South. We successfully complete over 35,000 repairs, 1,000 voids and fit 600 kitchens and bathrooms annually to 46,000 homes. There are exciting times ahead as we continue to grow.
Contract type: Part time - Fixed Term 6 Month Contract
Location: Ealing
Hours: 42.5 hours per week (8:00–17:00, Monday to Friday)
Annual salary: up to £40,000 (pro-rated where applicable)
Role
Contract Manager. You will be responsible for the day to day management of contract service delivery at local branch level, supporting the General Manager on delivery of high quality capital & programmed works and/or built environment services to Housing Client properties. You will ensure teams operate to Mears branch standards and deliver best in class customer service while satisfying safety, quality and cost control standards relating to budget, profitability and resource deployment.
Responsibilities
* Management of all aspects of operational and commercial delivery, overall contract performance in line with contractual commitments and agreed company and client protocols.
* Managing works to programme time frames, producing project updates relating to budget, cash flow, work programmes and health & safety.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, Mears standard operating procedures, Mears values and quality assurance accreditations. Demonstrate and monitor best practices, legislation, codes of practice and good working practices relevant to all work activities.
* Management of direct labor resources and supply chain, identifying opportunities to increase productivity and maximise efficiency savings. Work with group Procurement to maximise national procurement agreements and new innovations.
* Adherence to and completion of company and client reporting protocols within required timescales.
* Cultivate a positive, customer-focused culture across all work and programme activities, maintaining high health and safety standards and professional stakeholder communication.
* Ensure attainment of high levels of customer satisfaction in delivery and achievement of contractual KPI targets, while adhering to SOPs.
* Manage employees’ performance, coach and develop individuals in their roles. Protect assets and ensure HR policies and procedures are followed.
* Cultivate strong working relationships with client, service users and local communities; provide feedback on client views and market trends.
Role Criteria / Qualifications
* Experience in managing a contract within the social housing sector
* Experience in budget management
* Experience in performance reporting
* Experience in people management
* Ability to provide evidence of contract performance and efficiency
* Technical knowledge of social housing repairs and maintenance
Requirements: Background, Identity & Security checks before commencement of employment. DBS/Security checks may also be required. If driving a Mears vehicle, you must be aged over 21, have held a licence for more than 3 months and have fewer than 9 penalty points.
