The Company
The company are a family-owned global organisation specialising in stock, supply and distribution of material and components into a range of technical market sectors including manufacturing, construction and engineering, industrial and energy, process and power.
The regional operation employs c140 FTE’s across multiple locations and requires a high calibre Commercial Director candidate to work closely with the Regional MD to manage, oversee and drive the company’s commercial function in line with business and strategic growth objectives.
The Sales Director will lead the creation of the business’s future commercial strategy; responsible for 7 direct reports and a broader team of 56 across sales, product management & procurement. The role will be responsible for both building on relationships with the existing customer and sub-contractor network and leveraging the business’s strengths to unlock new opportunities and customers in identified growth sectors.
