Role Purpose Assistant Engineer – Road Structures Scottish Borders Council is looking for an enthusiastic civil engineer to act as an Assistant Engineer within its Road Structures team. The successful applicant will assist the appropriate Team Leader in managing the Council’s infrastructure assets, primarily bridges, culverts and roadside walls. Qualification Requirements Educated to HND or HNC in Civil or Structural Engineering (or relevant discipline) or present evidence of comparable experience and training. The successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate relevant experience of civil engineering design and construction and have a good knowledge and understanding of engineering principles.
