Are you an experienced logistics professional with a passion for delivering complex projects? We are seeking a Senior Logistics Manager to lead logistics operations for a high-profile infrastructure program, ensuring seamless coordination across multiple contractors and integrated project teams.
The Role:
As Senior Logistics Manager, you will:
* Develop and lead logistics strategies and policies for efficient resource use in Phase 1 construction and provide advice for Phase 2.
* Ensure contractors’ logistics plans comply with project and environmental requirements, both individually and collectively.
* Lead assurance processes for on-site compliance with environmental legislation and project standards.
* Oversee reporting, risk management, and guidance to contractors and project teams to prevent potential breaches.
* Act as the primary escalation point for logistics-related risks and assurance issues.
* Promote Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) in all activities and decisions.
About You:
You will have:
* Skills:
o Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
o Effective influencing and negotiation skills across stakeholders.
o Clear direction-setting and cross-functional collaboration capabilities.
* Knowledge:
o Understanding of construction logistics requirements and environmental impact assessments.
o Familiarity with supply chain operations and principles.
* Experience:
o Proven track record in logistics management on major infrastructure projects.
o Experience leading logistics policies and processes across multi-site projects.
* Qualifications:
o Degree in transport, logistics, or traffic studies (or equivalent experience).
o Membership in a relevant professional institution (e.g., CIHT or CILT).
