Are you a skilled CNC programmer in structural steel?
Join a leading Leeds-based structural steel business as a
CNC Programmer
. This role focuses on
programming, optimising, and managing CNC machine programmes
for Ficep, Kaltenbach, and Peddinghaus and Voortman machinery.
What you'll do:
* Program, optimise, and maintain CNC programmes for steel processing machines.
* Work with
VACAM, Steel Projects, Peddimat, BEAMDrill
software.
* Read and interpret CAD files, DSTV data, and engineering drawings.
* Troubleshoot programming issues and maintain accurate programme libraries.
* Ensure high-quality outputs meet structural steel standards.
What we're looking for:
* Proven CNC programming experience within a structural or heavy steel environment
* Knowledge of
Ficep, Kaltenbach, or Peddinghaus machinery
.
* Desirable: experience on
Voortman machines
, ERP/MRP systems, or nesting software (training can be provided)
* Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and precision.
